Well. I have arrived and the weather is glorious. Note to bus drivers this evening. It is just a tad blowy in parts so have fun. :)

I think i'm coming along :-)  I should be driving!

Adam would you want to catch a lift with me (I have a big car now :) )  we could leave Tuesday evening :-)  I'm happy to drive :-)

I will be coming and driving my own vehicle. Probably head down Tuesday during the day. I might have some space for others although I'm not really a light packer. Who knows what I'll bring without the restriction of an angry Nash guarding the minibus.

Thank you for the offer but you are going to want to climb. I'm taking my car this year so I can explore Cornwall a bit. I will still try and get my favourites in (Lands End Long and Commando Ridge) but lots of walks and attractions for me.

I have space in my car if anyone needs a lift. I'm probably not going to be heading off mega early like the bus. I'm also looking for a room buddy. Forewarning, I'm usually up pretty early and one of the first to arrive at breakfast. Laughing my head off at all you hungover people. Muahahahaha!!!!

Ok. So I paid 99 USMC A WADE MEMB.

However, I will probably drive down unless you are desperate for minibus drivers.

Hmmmm. Should you be allowed in the uber tent considering what you did to Hannah's tent last year...

Also, Angry Bri is sharing with Jen but it looks like Jen is sharing with bog standard Bri.

Well whatever happens you'll have to pass the club's safety test so it doesn't matter hugely how rusty you are on it.
Ever climbed outdoors?

The club has a safety test...

Other Activities / SSTL Vacancy - Test Engineer
« on: May 14, 2013, 10:47:01 AM »
SSTL are looking for a test engineer.

This generally involves setting up and running tests on flight hardware, engineering models and qualification models. This is for the Mechanical team so testing of structures and possibly some mechanisms. Not so much electronics.

Have a look at the attached job spec for those interested.

A degree isn't required and pay tends to reflect experience/academic qualifications.

SSTL has a final salary pension scheme with an additional fund. Your contributions are 4%. Private medical insurance and travel insurance. 32 days annual leave, on top of public bank holidays. A bonus each year dependant on company performance that is paid to everyone. A ride2work bike scheme. Subbed membership to SSP.

Just send your CVs to me at a.wade@sstl.co.uk and I'll pass them on to HR.

Unfortunately I have a wedding to go to and June is a touchy area for work so I can't make it.
