I have a brain blank

I have an equation:

10.56 = 10^(x-8/10)+10^(x-10/10)..... another 8 similar values

I could log all of these to give me

log10.56 = log(x-8/10)+log(x-10/10)...

I need to find my value of x

could i then just times together the values inside each log?

Hi All,

Some of you might know my very good friend Dez died last year - so we have decided to raise some money in his honour. This will be for the orpheus centre which is a local charity working with disabled children through music and performance who I have done some work with before.

So please all come, and also say you are coming here:

Tickets are 7.50 in advance in the union, or here:

Or 10 on the door.

Whos coming?

SO work have finally signed upto bike2work, so I can buy a shiny new one. With brakes that stop you and everything.

GT Sensor 4.0:

Specialized Camber FSR Comp:

Merida One-Twenty 400D:
I looked at this in farnham today, and it is indeed very shiny.

The specialized is the 'safe option', the GT I like the look of but can't find one anywhere near Guildford to have a look at, the Merida I found in farnham today and was very impressed! (the shop in farnham don't do the right type of bike2work scheme though)

I'm going to Germany next week for work, so just looking at saving a few pennys for them

Hi All,

We have some first aid budget left, and this is what I propose I spend it on;

On a tuesday evening (TBC) we will hire the small conferencey room upstairs at SSP. There will be a 2 hour first aid lecture from 8 till 10 pm. This will demonstrate CPR and basic first aid.

This would be a good refresher for everyone whether or not you have done first aid before.

Places will be limited, but hopefully enough for everyone who wants to go.

What is the inital interest?

Windle (will man up)
