Climbing Talk / Yorkshire Guide Books
« on: September 09, 2013, 02:32:42 PM »
So I'm going up t'north t'York t'moors on Friday and was wondering if anybody or the club has guide books for trad and bouldering of the area I can liberate for a week or two. I will be in Guildford tonight so can collect them.

Who wants a free YOYO? If the answer is yes come to the UNION on Thursday 15th Nov between 1030 and 1630  :D

There are other perks to this yoyo, a £26k starting salary, a £2k joining bonus all you need is a minimum of a 2:1.

The schemes are Engineering, IT, Finance, Strategy and Architecture and Operations.

How do you get these perks I hear you ask, pop to the UNNNNNNNIIIIOOOOOONNNNNN tomorrow between 1030 and 1630 and Virgin Media will be there to answer any questions you may have about the scheme and help you apply, there will be some other free stuff, I doubt there will be any fibre optic cable you can have and no Beardy Branson won't be there.

It's not just for final years everyone can come! See some of you tomorrow hopefully :-)

I will also be around for Three Pint Thursday in Wates if anybody fancies it?

Bullshit and Random Banter / Cycling Adventure

Dear All,

As some of you may be aware, I like cycling and I am a pesky student.

Combining these two facts gave me and a friend an idea. We would like to try and raise some money for Cancer Research UK by cycling a few hundred miles in sunny France this fine September.

The target that we would like to meet is 400 which will be about 1 for every mile that we cycle.

If you would like to donate it would be very much appreciated.

There is a Just Giving page set up which is the link below and I will also be hassling you at climbing tonight for donations.

Thanks for Reading

It's a bull running festival and a massive piss up in northern spain between the 6th and 14th of july.

I went in 2009 and it was probably the most fun/terrifying thing i have ever done..
