In all seriousness I have an interview for an awesome grad research job next week but as part of it I have to do a 20mins data analysis/interpretation test. Unfortunately I can't remember much about stats and wasn't very good at it when I did know anything anyway. Need a crash course before thursday....eeek! Anyone got any really easy to understand books or anyone any good at stats who could help?

Anyone who's just finished a physcology degree? Rosa, Hazel, Becka, etc. or anyone who is still doing one? Maximum Laura, etc.

I was pretty good at stats at A level but probably nothing like what you're looking for.

I did loads of stats for my degree, but from what i remember from seeing my psychology housemates stats its not that in depth so my books would probably confuse things even further.... but if ur stuck on anything gimme a shout

I'm 103.29% sure I'd be no use in teaching you statistics.

I agree, and tehn they seem really confused when no one understands it..i spent an age explaining stats to socialogists because all their course did was teach them to plug numbers in and push things

Your probably right. I dont want to be rubbishing people degrees though. I just happen to know Surrey are very weak on stats in Psychology compaired to other (Bath) univeristys. I've spent a huge amount of tiem playing catch up!

I could teach you some stuff about LaPlace transformations and Fourier Series. But the only useful thing I know about stats is to avoid....
