Downloading youtube videos
« on: March 05, 2012, 11:34:40 AM »
Anyone know of a website I can use to download a youtube video and save it to my computer? Want to add it to a presentation as lecturer's laptop is notorious for not loading webpages.

I've managed to download it, but when I put it in the presentation it's just a black rectangle. The audio is there, but the video won't play. Any ideas?

You can open the temporary file that is created on your computer with VLC media player and then using VLC convert it to a more usual video/audio format.
