Loxswood Medieval Festival
« on: July 16, 2012, 10:04:25 PM »

There are signs up all along the A281 on my drive to work at the moment for the Loxwood Medieval / Jousing Festival. Looks like crazy fun.

See http://www.loxwoodjoust.co.uk/

Its not far from Horsham / Guildford. There are Wenches. And Jousting. And ale, archery, falcons, jesters and "wound painting" :-s

Tickets are 12 online or 14 on the day. Its on on the Saturday and the Sunday, 4th and 5th August. Matt and I are probably going on the Sunday, although if you but tickets online they are valid both days anyway. Thought i'd stick it up here too as sounds like the sort of thing a few people might like too.

Oops. I thought this was in social events. Sorry. Feel free to move it, whoever can do that! Also Loxwood has no S in it. Time for me to get to bed I think!

I thought they had spelt medieval wrong on all their signs on the 281. But it appears that Mediaeval is an alternate spelling on wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Ages
