Printer won't turn on
« on: January 02, 2013, 01:26:39 PM »
Bought a new Kodak aio ESP 1.2 printer last month, it's been working fine, last used it a few days ago. Now it won't turn on. Done the whole unplug/replug thing, still not switching on. Any brilliant ideas?!?

my worryingly common advice to our customers springs to mind, though is probably a bit ott here...

"plug one end of the power cable into the mains, the other into the device then check the mains switch is on and the device switch is on."

Never fails to amaze me how many students and professors the world over don't think to check this!  Failing that have you tried another outlet or the fuse in the plug?

It connects via WiFi, and should turn on regardless of the computer connection. I might just go throw it at PCWorld instead. That'll fix something.
