WHEN? Saturday 13 April, 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Dust off your trainers, don an appropriately silly running outfit and join in the fun!
(Yes boys that is an invitation to crack out the spandex!)
Prizes will be awarded to the best silly-sports outfits.

As many of you already know on Sunday 21st April I will be running the Virgin London Marathon in aid of the charity Music in Hospitals. On the Saturday before (13th April) Iím going to be holding a Silly Sports Day afternoon and youíre all invited.  Basically it will be an afternoon re-living all the sports and games we used to play as kinds including:  tug-of-War, dodge ball, Dogís Dinner (the chocolate game) etc etc.  Marathon themed fancy dress is encouraged but not compulsory.

ENTRY: Free. Any donations towards my marathon fundraising target will be gratefully received.

Donít worry if you donít want to join in the games, there will also be tasty treats for sale and a raffle!

Booking not required but please let me know in advance if you plan to attend. This will help me ensure that enough silly sports equipment is made available on the day.

Any ideas for games/sports will be considered. If anyone would like to assist me in leading/umpiring any games let me know.

Iíll be at the SSP wall tomorrow with flyers for the event.......see you there.

If you can't come along but feel you have a few £s you can donate to help me reach my fundraising target please visit  http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/HannahTurnerMarathon Many thanks!

Hannah x

Hey

Thanks to everyone who came to Silly Sports Day and helped make it such a fun afternoon.  We raised £100.96 for Music in Hospitals - Whoop!

Have a look at the pictures here

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151413429793882.1073741825.511208881&type=1&l=60023b852d

With the money raised from Silly Sports day and from selling the left over cakes at my orchestra and in my office block the grand total came to £292.56. This took me over my fundraising target for the marathon!!!!!  I'm currently on £1,829.56 which is just fantastic, and I am so grateful to everyone who has donated

Thanks again to all xxxx
