May Bank holiday in NWales?
« on: March 24, 2014, 07:17:41 PM »
I looked into union buses for this but they're all booked, sad times.

I might look into a kendalls bus for the job and see if it will cost crazy money.

Do people fancy a car based trip on the may bank holiday if not? To N Wales or maybe the peaks?

I could be tempted by a bit of climbing in the peaks. Weekend is free at the moment.
Many donkeys have tried to match wits with me, but almost all have failed.

Laura and I are likely to make an appearance for the May Bank holiday trip.

Yeah I'm still holding out some hope for getting a bus on the second bank holiday.

Volunteers to drive cars for this from Guildford?

Could I maybe have a space? - though I don't finish work until 5, but can be ready to go straight from campus?

Just to check, is this to N Wales? original post said maybe Peaks and some people sounded interested in Peaks...

Tarryn and I are keen but were going to check the weather closer the time. I always prefer the peak but happy to go with the masses/weather.

If people are heading to the peak then I would probably prefer that, but ill go where the weather/masses go too.

Wooo :-)  So shall we suggest camping at the usual spot in Chapel Ceruthgaergolk (never been any good with welsh spelling).

Nash if you could grab a rack and doubles that would be grand :-)  Also Guide books that would be ace too :-)

If our tents leak, i suggest Erics barn :-P  Also lets CRUSH! :-) I'm going to see if i can fit a pad in for sitting down and making dinner.

My Car, we wont be stopping at tesco's on the way up, but we will stop for dinner somewhere.
