Title: Massive pile of lost property
Post by: Dunny on July 30, 2009, 01:04:30 AM
If you have ever lost anything then I suggest that you look in the Cupboard just outside Dr Jons House!!!

We found crazy amounts of lost property when we helped him move house the other day.  He obviously doesnt want it all clutering up the new house (who would??!!), so we threw it all in the outhouse.

if you want anything then I suggest that you look asap.

I photographed anything that looked like it had any sort of value.   Photos can be found on my facebook page.

The stuff must have been abandoned in the house for a long time now so if you want anything then feel free to help yourself.  It is kinda like freecycle!!!

P.s. I am in Conrwall now so dont bother texting / facebooking me about any of it.  I cannot help you!!   I have dont the best I can by taking photos.  If you want anything back then i suggest that you get on with it and go get it back......

I have a sleeping bag and a throw that were there, I went to find them at the old place before, but no luck. What is this outhouse?

The out house is just outside his front door.

However, Your sleeping bag / throw would probably not have made it out there.

We assumed that all sleeping bags / throw type things were probably jons or nathans so they were the lucky items that got taken straight into the house and bypassed all of these piles!!

Sleeping bags would be most likley to have made it upstairs and throw type things would have probably been chucked in the study - possibly behind the sofa!

Also, Duncan - I do believe that there may be a climbing guide book with your name on it somewhere on Jons book shelf.   I think it might be the South part of the West Cornwall Guide Book  (altho I could be very wrong - moving day was a busy time!!)

No but the old shed is going to Julias house and it will need a new roof, she may let you do that. My new garage is going to be lovely and dry and I'm not sure your roofing method is upto the job.

Who has lost a black cable bike lock?

I put it in my bag a couple of weeks ago while on a weekend cycle and now can't remember who I was storing it for.  I'll try and remember to bring it in on Tuesday night

I have recently identified that I have lost my size 7 wallnut (anodised black).  Mine may/ should have white and grey gear tape on it

Its likely that I lost it on on of my recent wye valley jaunts.  So alan, dunc, lou, becky, dave have you seen it?

I've just found an olive green army bivi bag in my room which isn't mine.  I might have picked it up from Splosh.  Anyone want to claim it?
