There is 3 Pizza Express deal with voucher for 3 course courses for £12.95.  I'm thinking about booking a table tonight if they have space.  Any takers?  Maybe about 7:30 pm?  x

Ha having organised this for 7:00 pm I've now realised that as I've got to go to London in the afternoon for work I might be hard pushed to get there for 7, more like 7:30.  If any of you quote my name they'll give you the table.  I might call someone to put in a pizza order for me.  See you all there.

Righty I just booked a table for 8 people to eat at 7:00 pm.  The music starts at 8:00 pm and have confirmed that it is completely free!!!  Can probably add more to table if there is greater demand.  I think the list below is everyone I have heard from.  ?? means need to confirm.  Not sure who wants to eat so let me know if your on the list but don't need a place at the table.

Hi all

A few us us went to the Boiler Room on Saturday for a 1940s night and the local band "The Fresh Dixie Project" were playing.  They are five very talented guys on the music course at Surrey playing and singing some old school jazz songs with a bit of a modern twist.  They're all great musicians and it was a really fun night with lots of dancing an merriment.

They're playing again at the Stoke on Friday night and me and few others will be going down to watch and eat some Pizza.  Not quite worked out if there is a charge or not, doesn't seem to be anything about having to pay on the Stoke's website.

Find out about the band here

Hope to see you there.  Come and support some local young talent and get your dancing shoes on.

Bullshit and Random Banter / Celebratory drinks - I'm coming home!!!!!
« on: November 18, 2011, 11:41:23 AM »
Hello everyone.

Long time no see to many of you - I've been absent from the forum for a long time as I've been living and working in London.

I've got 2 little announcements to make
1.  I've decided to move back to Guildford and am moving in with Nick W and Sean in Fiarlands tomorrow
2.  I just found out that I got the job I applied for in Surrey starting from January.  I'm going to be working for Music in Hospitals in Waltan-on-Thames.  Yippee!!!!

I've kept the first of these two pretty quiet as didn't know what the outcome of the 2nd would be so wasn't sure if I'd be wanting to celebrate or not.  As the news is good I'm going to be heading out somewhere for some celebratory drinks tomorrow night - perhaps via some tasty pizza at Jon's.  It would be lovely to see some of you and I look forward to being involved with the club a lot more again.  Must get my Sportspark membership sorted out.

Also, I'm now going to need to buy a car.  So any recommendations about getting a second hand small car would be much appreciated.

See you all soon!
