« on: March 17, 2008, 05:46:52 PM »

Possible lady gays

Are going to go to attempt to eat our weight in Pizza in time for SPLOSH (it's good training and the weekly event hasn't been quite so weekly lately), if anyone wants to join the fun you're more than welcome, we'll meet on Yorkies at 12.45 or at the venue of food at 1pm.

Social Events / Flares. Monday.
« on: February 23, 2008, 05:33:40 PM »
In the pub t'other day Jess asked me if I knew of any 80s theme nights happening in town, being a litlun she didn't know about Flares.  And to add excellence to its craziness, on Mondays, from my very bad memory I also think it's a form of student night where cocktails are cheaper by the glass than the jug and beer (when I say beer...) is about 1.50 a pint, all night.

So who else wants to come and dance like its before they were born all over again?

Social Events / Indiana Chuckles and the Kingdom - April 6th Woking
« on: February 19, 2008, 04:10:41 PM »
The chuckle brothers, for about the 50th year in a row, are performing their unique brand of comedy at theatres across the country, on the 6th they cometh to Woking.

Bob wants to go, as do I, any other takers?

Date and place are subject to Bobs diary, just thought I'd throw it out there.....

Well I'm hammered, but hopefully this will be slightly understandable.

A few of us (Charlie, Alf, Stick, poss Lou) and others I canne remember are going to go buffet at Pizza hut, meet 1pm on Yorkies Bridge.

After we're going to play what I think is spelt Croakay, but isn't, on the bowles lawn at about 2.30pm, some cohorts (Becky & Laura) will bring a picy-nic for us to theive.  Come along and we'll all have fun.

Social Events / Pancake Eating At Wates
« on: January 30, 2008, 05:03:20 PM »
Anyone interested in the annual who can eat the most pancakes and be violently ill competition at Wates this year?  It's dinner for the evening and only costs a few pounds.

The club took 1st and 2nd last year if my memory serves correctly so this needs upholding...then on to Catch22 or whatever it's now become?

And in case you wondered when it was...5th Feb, and starts at 8pm after climbing.

Social Events / Quiz & Curry In Wates House
« on: January 17, 2008, 01:37:55 PM »
It's at 7.30 tonight, anyone fancy entering and showing the world how (un)intelligent USMC are?

Don't know details of the curry but it's normally cheap, think quiz is a quid to enter.

Weeman said he'll come, but we need more else it'd just be rubbish!

Social Events / Pizza Hut Lunch Today 1pm ish
« on: January 16, 2008, 11:53:15 AM »
A few of us are going buffeting at Pizza Hut, we're meeting 1pm on Yorkies bridge, so probably at the doors by 1.15

We'll then be covering ourselves in metaphorical glue and metaphorically rolling round charity shops to prepare ourselves for the evenings festivities; everyone of course is welcome to witness or partake in both, one, or neither.

Social Events / USMC Pub Crawl This Wednesday 16/01

Theme: "Dip me in Glue and Roll me through a Charity Shop"

Everyone's welcome; we'll meet in/outside channies about 7.30, then we'll move on to town at some point once we're suitably refreshed.

Sign up on facebook (or just turn up if you hate facebook, it confuses you, or can't be arsed -we don't exactly need to know numbers!).

There's not much there only a few bits for reference (bank details for trips etc), it's not anything special so don't get excited.

Other Activities / Dinner on Saturday
« on: April 12, 2007, 07:56:39 PM »
Since I haven't eaten well in a while, nor have I cooked for a few people either...does anyone fancy coming over for dinner on Saturday?  As most of you know I eat very little, what I do eat though I'm told I cook well!  It would all be made from scratch too.

If anyone is interested I'd be going for;

Scotch Egg + Roast Tats + Seasonalish Veg (Carrots, [Sprouting if available] Brocoli & unseasonal Peas)
Followed by Raspberry fart arse (2 bits of shortbread with raspberries and a creamy filling -it's nice!) with mint choccy chip ice cream.

You might even get a roll made with fresh local flour (the bread at least is amazing!) if I get my arse in to gear.

I think I can reasonably cook for up to 6 here, and just about seat the same and will probably cost ~?2.50 a head + alcohol.

If people would prefer another day I'm about all week, it's just a case of getting some fresh veg.

See attached picture, the people at the front looking thoroughly unimpressed are not important, it's all about the climbers, and someone else is also there, but me nor Bitch can work out whom.
