A friend of mine made an awesome bag from an old pair of "pants" (stupid yanks)

The pockets ARE the pockets, which I thought was pretty cool:

I will be climbing Valkrie, the sloth and I will once agin try and fit through sifta's quid.

You're too fat! Go around :) Seriously though, I'd been told it was fun, I went up and looked, and that hole is SMALL. I went around, which was actually awesome. Good route.

Currently planning on popping down to climb and say hi one day, not sure yet which, will be weather dependent.

You don't have any micro cams on their Alan? 3CU's don't go small enoughif i'm correct?. I doubt need a portaledge lot of people have not even mentioned in reports + bloke in cotswolds who was their for ages last year didn't take one.

The Aiding needs trying most certainly anywhere you can think of doing it Duncan? A few people seem to have suggested on embankment routes at Millstone. But i'm opposed to aiding them as they are quite classic routes.

Thor's cave? Doveholes caves? There's also a dry tooling route in swanage in a cave that's flat and only 3m up. You could probably aid it instead of tooling it.

This thread's also interesting:

I'd be interested....

Either driving from t'up north or getting the train down then hopping in a car.

Jess' Car Boat: ALL the SPLOSH
1. James
2. Jess (in the boot)

i dont get it why am i in the boot???? :(

Ask Dave, he changed that bit  :P

Hee hee heee *whistles innocently*

Charlie J - have you still a space or is four people in your car going to be ridiculously uncomfortable?

Otherwise an 11 day car may be a slight problem. We have a space in Tarryn's car for 8 days, and many bus spaces, also for 8 days.

my car has just blown up :-( its got car AIDs and will need to go to the hospital, probably the hospice then into a car shaped coffin :-(

Does anyone have a car they can lend/sell me?

we have a car we're selling. got a few things i am meant to do on it but haven't yet, but drives ok and good engine. give me a shout if you're interested

What is it? How old? How much? Details?

on a more serious note - does anyone know what's wrong with an engine when there is no power in the acceleration for pretty much all gears? i was going along at 40 on the M3! i got scared and pooed my pants

Jess is good at fixing engines :) Just don't ask me to help, it's stressful helping (or not as the case may be) her.

Saturday mead-filled goodness. Your food choices are chicken or vegetarian.

I need to know how many veggie options we will need. Let me know. :)

Also, everyone start paying Hannah 7 per night you wish to stay.

Just an FYI everyone... I think poppy got it wrong. The choices are Chicken, Chicken OR wooden plate. Like I said... just an FYI, don't shoot the messenger.

Who's climbing where on Saturday?

It'd be nice to have some people to climb with, Jess is throwing me out of the car at a crag of my choice in the morning on her way to the competition. Where will people be? If not I'll just find a place to boulder/bimble.

I replied with this, so if noone contacts him, perhaps he'll find his way here:

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the email, I should think quite a few club members would be interested in coming along to that, and a few of them work at SSP so they might be able to help you get a venue either at SSP or the university.

I'm not still at university at Surrey but I've posted on the club forum to ask someone to get in touch with you. Or you could visit yourself and post a message on the forum asking for help or to gauge interest. The website is
