Pubs for lunch in the ford
« on: September 20, 2008, 04:56:44 PM »
A supplier is coming down on Monday, so I'll be getting a free lunch out of him, where should we go, he asked if there is a decent pub for food.  I'd have said the kings head in the past, but that's turned to crap...so any suggestions?  The drummond?

If they are paying The Farriers (The restaurant/bar I work at Old 3 Pidgeons) is very good, most likely a little late now but it has good beer, and the food is amazing, a little more expensive then some pub food but it is all fresh. The atmosphere also suits for businesses (seeing as that's our target market)

We went to the old ship in in the end, didn't have much food really on the menu, should have gone to the stoke, think their pizzas are better, cheaper and it's bogof on a Monday... hohum.
