Cycling the Danube
« on: January 22, 2011, 12:30:53 PM »
Tor and I are thinking of cycling more of Eurovelo 6 - starting in Germany and following the Danube through Austria to Slovakia. Probably over easter. Expect to take the 11 easter holiday days which will include a couple of rest days. Camping to make it cheaper, either shipping out our bikes or hiring some there. Looking to do about 60 miles per day.

As much Beer, sausage and Sauer Kraut as you can handle along the way.

anyone interested in joining us?

Wouldn't camping mean carrying a butt load of stuff with you? Are you around the ford tonight?

Nope, two normal panniers max . We're travelling light and its warm enough to not need much. Supplies are available all the way along too.
