I forgot the obligatory...

Please check your EHIC card is in date (and that you have one!)

What if it isn't?

Renew it? You don't need to wait for the actual card. Takes a second online.

Just a warning that the gas bottles for the camping stoves are apparently empty. I took a quick look in John's cupboard a few weeks ago but didn't really know what to look for. Is this the sort of thing they need?

If they are then I might be able to buy some and bring them to Guildford on the weekend. Otherwise it may be better to buy some when you get there as the stoves are from France anyway. Anyone know?
Cheers, hope you have a good trip :D

changing the gas has always been cheapest in a supermarket in france for me.  don't do it over here if you can avoid it.

OK, thanks for the info. I'm not actually going but as equipment officer it was my job I guess. Sounds like people need to refill them at Font.

Has anyone got a spare space for just the non-work days. Or up for joining in for a last minute trip?

Can bus people meet at Danger Jons at 8.30 Wednesday please, we need to leave ASAP!

We won't be stopping for food, the ferry will sell this, as will the services we have the pleasure of frequenting in France, or bring some snacky-snacks with you!

I'd be up for joining a last minute trip if you go with that plan.
