Apparently so, I don't think they make people join the club for the trip.

But now all the money from membership goes to the union. So the union would be silly not to let them. But then again the ski club probably care less.

On a separate note, I've noticed a load of people recently started joining the facebook group. Would it worth using this more to help increase trip/social popularity? I made a few alterations and added a few more people as admins.

Which facebook group is this then? The only one I found has had nothing updated on it for months

By updated I mean some of general text about the club. I didn't have much to post since there's nothing really happening at the moment.

could maybe add something each time an event is planned with a link back to the forum? would be a pain if things actually get organised on faecesbook and here tho..

Oh definitely. I meant what you just suggested. Just messaging everyone with a link would do it.

No longer the biggest unfortunately...

The figures are in and officially the biggest club is the Surf and Wake Club with 106 members!
Followed by the Rugby Club with 82 members!

Previous biggest Clubs were Mountaineering 2009-11 and Rugby Club 2008-09

According to the figures that team surrey count ( Because it depends how you define member) between 70 and 80. I want to say 76? From the information on our club development plan I did for team Surrey our numbers haven't fluctuated massively over the last few years , it would appear surf and wake have grown massively

between 70 and 80.

Is this only those who've signed up at SSP front desk? so excludes anyone who's just given 10 to the club?  I thought we usually had about 100 in recent years...

I'd assume so , I'm not certain Kirsty will know better than me, I just put the number on our form that she told me to!
