Prefer to go on a couple of day trips but if forecast stays good wend can be done as well. Can try drag Andy (Scottish) to come along as well.

In fact, Matt would like to go climbing. I'd quite like to go to a tea-shop, eat cake and read my kindle :-)

Looks like Dave is up for something on Saturday and he is over Bristol way. I think a weekend in the west Country climbing would be good. I have always wanted to climb at baggy point and I have the new fairy cave guidebook so we could do a weekend of slab climbing.

I thought Fairy Glen was in the Wye valley? Matt definately said "near Bristol". I suppose Dvon is nearer Bristol than Horsham.

Devon by the seaside on Saturday gets my vote, then we could go to the quarry on the way home. Guess that means driving down Friday night. Any car and campsite thoughts?

i'm not entirely sold on the quarry tbh - went a couple of years ago and don't remember there being that much there..

reckon it would be better to stay in n devon and go straight home from there - no need to detour into the wilds of cheddar..

are planning on climbing or are you going to be picnic/photo-ing?

I'll take my things and see. Might as well do the odd one (assuming there are any actually easy enough!) I have any car insurance btw.

I no longer am able to leave Friday night but happy to drive down where ever you guys are climbing on Saturday. If anyone else is happy to do a day trip on Sat, I shall have car spaces. Thanks!
