I'm driving down Thursday night and coming back Tuesday evening. I'm bringing Will and i might be bringing Tristan, so I currently have 1 or 2 spaces available in my car.

Anyone want transportation for a shorter font?

In case anyone gives a damn I bought a new font Guidebook, this is a rare events so I thought I'd share it with the world, it's the Jingo Wobbly Fontainbleau Fun Bloc variant, this was released in 2012 so I don't think the club has any.  If anyone was thinking of buying one I'd say....

It has lots of pretty pictures
It has a very narrow selection of crags compared to other books
Problems look to be well numbered/mapping good!
It covers a lot of easy circuits of 20+ problems (15 white, 21 yellow, 31 orange plus lots of harder stuff I don't care about)
It has suicidal problem icons which amused me
It has buggy icons for where small child pushing devices can feasibly go

If anyone would like a gander let me know and I'll take it some place, I picked mine up on eBay for the grand sum of 19 (new).

Fun block is great. A couple of locations not in the purple book (plus it marks the paths which are suitable for buggies)

Sounds like the one Alan and Vicky have, we did however find a path that the book said was good for buggies and turned out to be rubbish even with the large wheels on our buggy :-(  To much sand

Windle - what time on Thursday night are you leaving? If late, can I steal your space if it's still going?  :D
I'm not scared of falling at all; it's the moment you stop falling that you've really got to be concerned about.  :P

How late? My current plan is to leave Worcester at about 4/5, so i could pick you up from Guildford at about 6.30. I can be a bit later if needed though.

If we have 2 buses I might be able to get one subsidises to the tune of ~200.  Someone at work could well need a table football (the professional sort) delivered to Paris, or possibly Font and will pay a good sum of money for the privilege!

Alex, Miller, Charlie, the real James.

LOL. There are imposters? There are 8 Jameses in the Huddersfield Uni club. Sheesh. Currently the only one without a nickname so I guess I win.

I found the bigger saw I want this year, none of that pansy bow saw crap or pussy chain saw shite. I'm going to bring a ROPE SAW!!!

Now we just need someone to bring a big chopper. My last one broke and ended up as a door stop in the House of Tea.

erm, my car is getting rather full i'm afraid, I have 5 seats (including the drivers seat) and i've currently got (in the order they asked for a space):

me
Will
Tristan (return journey only)
Poppy?
Michael?

reserve:
weasely Dave?

edit: Poppy, Michael and Dave, how early could you be ready to leave and where from. Ideally i want to be leaving Worcester at 1600, which would mean reaching guildford at about 1800 and reaching font at about midnight, people who fit into that plan neatly would be my preferred choice of passengers :D

If we can't fill both buses then yes. We can't have the split van for Font, I'm trying currently to get a second 9 seater.

Ladies and Gentlemen I have some bad news.

Only one 9 seater bus is available for this trip.

The split van is out of action. The other 9 seater is booked.

Soo spaces on the bus I do have will go first paid first served as promised meaning we can take only 9 people by bus to font.

Would people like me to see if I can get a second bus for a shorter period of time so they get to go to font in some form? (I'm thinking friday morning maybe to tuesday)

Or

Are those who are missing out here happy to try and sort cars?

Tl:dr Consider font a full trip. If you've already paid I'll work on an alternative, If I can't you'll be refunded your deposit ( or it'll go to camping)
Anyone else wanting to come not already paid: Sort yourself out in cars.
